In 2021, our move to North Carolina marked a new chapter as empty nesters. It was a time of exciting changes and fresh beginnings for my husband and me.

Our last son was off to college and suddenly it was just the two of us. Filled with anticipation and excitement, we eagerly embarked on new adventures and started to explore our surroundings in North Carolina.

In 2022, our lives took an exciting turn with the addition of Dior, our amazing furry companion. Welcoming Dior into our family brought us boundless joy and opened a whole new world of adventures.

Suddenly, our explorations had to adapt to accommodate our beloved dog. Armed with our phones, we meticulously researched dog-friendly places including beaches, restaurants, breweries, and walking trails.
